I am a photographer, ecologist and conservationist who has been lucky enough to have worked professionally with wildlife for over 30 years.
My philosophy is not just to take great images for their own sake, but to use my work to highlight the beauty and complexity of the natural world, and to raise awareness of the fragility of our environment in a period of unprecedented change.
I specialize in nature photography – especially insect macro photography. Insects are a fascinating group of species on which we all critically depend, but which are declining globally at an alarming rate.
I am lucky enough to work with the nice people at Olympus and have been an official Olympus Mentor since 2018. I also love to talk photography, so if you have any technical queries (especially involving Olympus kit) want to discuss possible workshops, or maybe to talk through ideas for bespoke 1:1 tuition days, please do drop me an email or give me a call.
