It is usual to shoot an animal from the front, but the stunning color of this frogs eye caught the light really nicely when shot from the back

Grass snake playing dead - its a form of anti predator behaviour , but one that is rarely seen, so it was really nice to capture it on this occasion.

I came across this hunting grass snake 4' up in a gorse bush, whilst I was out looking for dragonflies. I have not seen this behavior before; you learn something every time you go out!
